What are the character limits and image rules for each social platform?

Each social platform sets its own text and image rules. Check the limits below before you publish. The app allows one Library image per post and shows a warning when a selected profile needs a change.

Facebook 20,000 characters Optional. Connect a Page.

These are the rules the app checks for a post. The publish window shows the exact problem beside a profile when a post does not fit.

Rules shared by all platforms

You can attach one image per post, and it must be in your Library. Video and GIF posts are not available. You can choose up to 20 connected profiles for one post. YouTube publishing is a planned feature.

Google Business Profile supports Standard, Event and Offer posts. A call to action that opens a page needs a valid URL. Events need valid start and end dates and times.
