# How to connect your social media accounts?

> Open your user menu, choose Settings, then select Connections. Select Connect on a platform card and sign in. You can connect X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Bluesky, Threads and Google Business Profile.

## Open Connections

1. Select your name at the bottom of the left navigation.
2. Choose **Settings**.
3. Select **Connections**.

Each connected account has a card. A green **Connected** badge means it is ready to use.

## Connect an account

1. Select **Add connection**, or **Connect** on a platform card.
2. Sign in to the platform and approve access in the window that opens.
3. Return to the app. Your account now shows **Connected**.

Allow pop-ups for the app. If your browser blocks the sign-in window, the account will not connect.

For **Bluesky**, enter your handle and an App Password instead. Create the App Password in your Bluesky settings. Do not use your regular password.

## Platform notes

- **Facebook** connects as a Page, not a personal profile.
- **Instagram** needs a Business or Creator account.
- **TikTok** and **Pinterest** posts need an image. Pinterest also needs a board.
- **YouTube** is a planned feature and is not available yet.

## Reconnect or remove an account

Select the three dots on a card to choose **Reconnect** or **Disconnect**. If a card says **Needs reconnect**, see [how to fix a social account that will not connect](https://docs.selljam.ai/troubleshooting/social-account-wont-connect.md).

## Earn bonus credits

During setup, you earn 10 bonus credits for each platform you connect.

## Common questions

### Do I need to connect accounts to use the app?

No. You can create and save content without connecting. Connect accounts when you want to publish or schedule.

### Can I remove a connected account?

Yes. Open the card's three-dot menu and select **Disconnect**.

### Is my password stored in the app?

No. You sign in on the platform itself. The app keeps only the access the platform gives it, and you can disconnect at any time.
